Modernisation and service for induction systems

HBB Induction assesses existing induction equipment independently of the original supplier and develops retrofit concepts that retain usable infrastructure while removing technical bottlenecks.

Understand the cause before replacing hardware

Power loss, unstable frequency, repeated trips, uneven heating or high energy demand can have several causes. Electrical measurements, thermal assessment and cooling analysis are therefore combined.

Documentation, nameplates, oscillograms and actual load conditions form the basis of the action plan.

  • Current, voltage, frequency and power
  • Temperature and flow
  • Protection and fault history
02

Retrofit with defined system boundaries

The scope can range from individual assemblies to a complete replacement of converter, PLC and HMI. Furnace, inductor, transformer, capacitor bank and cables are checked for compatibility.

Obsolete semiconductors and controls are replaced by maintainable, documented solutions.

  • Power stage and drivers
  • PLC, HMI and communication
  • Passive power components
03

Implementation in industrial operation

Shutdown windows, pre-testing and fallback strategy are planned early. Functional, protection and load tests secure restart.

After conversion, power, frequency, control and process parameters are tuned and documented.

  • Shutdown planning
  • FAT, SAT and restart
  • Training and spare-parts concept

Prepare your modernisation

Send circuit diagrams, nameplates, fault descriptions and operating data. We will define a sensible assessment and retrofit scope.
